Dr. John E. Larcabal OD
Dr. John E. Larcabal is a graduate of the Southern California College of Optometry. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and recently served as President of the California Optometric Association.
Dr. Larcabal has been in practice for over 20 years and teaches at the prestigous Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Larcabal has received various awards includingYoung Optometrist of the Year as well as the Golden Apple Award from the Norwalk La Mirada Unified School District for his assistance in the visual welfare of the children in our community. Dr. Larcabal also speaks Spanish. |
Dr. Diane Almanza
Dr. Diane Almanza is a graduate of the Southern California College of Optometry. She has received various awards including: Dr. Roger Kame Memorial Scholarship for Clinical Excellence, GP Lens Institute Clinical Excellence, and the Dr. John Dean Student Research Award. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and California Optometric Association where she serves as a chair on the membership committee. Special intrests include pediatrics and contact lenses.
Dr. Almanza has become a pediatric doctor here at Norwalk Optometry. She sees kids starting at age 6 months! Your kids will be in great hands with her. We have had kids say that coming in for their eye exam is one of their favorite days of the year! |
Recently Dr. Almanza has accepted a teaching position at the Southern California College of Optometry. When not working Dr. Almanza enjoys yoga, dining out, and spending time with her husband and three beautiful children.
Dr Sandra L. Stevens OD
Dr. Stevens is a graduate of the Southern California College of Optometry. She has been in practice for almost 30 years. Dr. Stevens has been active with the Rio Hondo Optometric Society and has received their award for Young OD of the Year. Dr. Stevens is also very involved in the vision screening program of our local school districts.
Outside of the office she enjoys spending time in the mountains with her family, doing crafts, and jazzercise! |
Dr. Yamam Almouradi, O.D.
Dr. Yamam Almouradi is a graduate of the Southern California College of Optometry. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association.
She is Vision Therapy certified as well as Corneal Refractive Therapy-Paragon (CRT) certified. Dr. Almouradi has received various awards including: Dr. John R. Griffin Award of Excellence in Vision Therapy, Special Olympics and Lions Club Certificate of Excellence, Certificate of Recognition for Community Service from California Legislature Assembly, and Certificate of Appreciation in Medical Network Devoted to Service (MiNDS). Special interests include Pediatrics, Vision Therapy, and Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation. |
When not working, Dr. Almouradi enjoys event planning, spending time with her family, volunteering in optometry service events for the underserved, and directing Sight & Sketches - a grassroots Southern California optometric and humanitarian relief project she co-founded.
Dr. Almouradi also speaks Arabic.

Julie Langan
Julie has worked for Dr. Larcabal for the last 27 years and has been in the eye care field for over 40 years. She is ABOC, NCLE, and CPOT certified. She keeps up to date on the latest technology and products available by attending classes and seminars.
She is friendly and has a contagious laugh! When not at the office Julie enjoys serving others, and spending time with children and grandchildren. |
Becky Villado
Becky has been working with Dr. Larcabal for over 22 years. She has built friendships, and gained the trust of many patients over the years. She is a "people" person and enjoys working with the public.
She has been married for 33 years and has 2 grown children. Oh her days off she enjoys going to the gym. Fluent in Spanish. |
Margaret Diaz
Margaret has been working with Dr. Larcabal for over 20 years. She enjoys assisting patients with their frame selection and needs. She also enjoys helping the community by attending health fairs.
When Margaret is not at work at the Norwalk office, she spends her time with her two grandkids, volunteering at their school. She also enjoys watching a good basketball game with her husband and close friends. Fluent in Spanish. |
Rachel Seitz
Rachel has been at Norwalk Family Optometry for a little over a year now. She has a BA degree from Brigham Young University, and is new to California. She enjoys learning all she can so she can better help patients, and make sure they feel comfortable and happy every time they visit our office.
When not in the office she enjoys spending time with her husband, trying new things, photography, and being outdoors. Rachel is also fluent in Russian. |
ISABEL SANTANA
Isabel has over 14 years of optical experience. As an experienced optician she can help you find and fit the best eyeglasses for your unique style and vision needs. She also will make sure you and your family have the best eye care experience possible.
When not at Norwalk family Optometry, Isabel enjoys walks at the beach, and loves to have fun with her 3 beautiful kids and husband. Fluent in Spanish. |

Norma is the newest member of our Norwalk Family Optometry office. She is fluent in Spanish and comes to us with 6 years of experience. You will enjoy her outgoing, friendly personality as she assists you in the selection of your frames and lenses.

CRYSTALL MARTINEZ
Crystall has been with Norwalk Family Optometry for 3 years and enjoys helping patients find their perfect pair of glasses. She can also be seen aiding with school screenings and attends health fairs in the community. She aspires to be become an optometrist and start school in the upcoming year.
When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to Disneyland, and volunteering in nearby hospitals. Fluent in Spanish. |
